GOOD QUESTIONS.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS.
Trying something new can feel like a big step. Here are a few things people often ask before their first class.
Do I need experience to start?
Not at all. Beginners are welcome, and your instructor will guide you through the basics at a pace that suits you.
What age groups can train?
We run different programmes for younger children, juniors, teens and adults, alongside ladies-only kickboxing and girls’ self-defence. Check the programmes and timetable pages to find the best fit.
Explore our programmesWhat should I wear to my first class?
Comfortable sports clothing is fine for your first session. Bring a drink of water and arrive a little early so we can welcome you and answer any questions.
Do I need to buy equipment first?
No. Come and try a class before buying anything. We’ll explain what kit is appropriate for your class and when you need it.
Where do classes take place?
We run classes in Tilehurst, Calcot, Theale, Burghfield and Compton. Visit the timetable for current class times and venue details.
